Making a grand musical entrance into the world of electronic music in 2007 with the well-regarded “Proper’s A’dam Family Series” of five EP’s on the Rush Hour imprint, Amsterdam house producer San Proper has made waves with several of electronic music’s leading lights. Proper is first and foremost a deft multi-instrumentalist, a fact reflected in the spontaneity and groove of his work, which regularly incorporate his hand-jammed percussion, vintage synths, and other self-fashioned instruments. The approach led to a call from minimal-techno kingpin Ricardo Villalobos, who invited the Dutch newcomer to remix his track “Electronic Water” from the Vasco sessions. The results were impressive enough to garner Proper his own Perlon single, 2009’s “Keep It Raw/December 10th”, which saw him shift into a more serious and techno-influence direction. Resident Advisor described the EP as a “Dutch take on Villalobos: Hard, unrelenting beats don’t give you much room to breathe, but if you’re willing to go underwater for a bit, there’s plenty to find.”
《 It is the aural sound of 'Theoretically pure anterograde amnesia' a condition where it's impossible to remember new events. 》
